GALLERY: Crews clear the way for new sidewalks at Goddard Building
An early Spring came to life with the whine of circular saws, pounding hammers and the beep, beep, beep of concrete mixers backing up to unload their weighty haul. The work was part of a new project aimed at upgrading uneven sidewalks and disabled entry access areas on the east side of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources’ Goddard Building. The construction is in conjunction with the rise of a new two-story tower facade going up just outside CASNR’s Dean’s Office on the northwest corner of the building. The project, scheduled for completion by the end of March, completes the exterior enhancement of CASNR’s new Bayer Plant Science Building and visually ties the new and old buildings together. The tower is being built by Vaughn Construction.
